USA MedBoard Pro, operated by AMAI Apps ("we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). 1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: When you create an account via OAuth (Google or Apple Sign-In), we receive your name and email address from the authentication provider.
• Usage Data: We collect data about how you interact with the app, including questions answered, study sessions, streaks, scores, and module progress.
• Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and crash reporting purposes.
• Subscription Data: Payment and subscription status are managed by RevenueCat and the respective app store (Apple App Store / Google Play). We do not store your credit card or payment information.
• AI Conversation Data: Messages sent to the Dr. Alex AI Tutor and AI Guide features are processed by our server to generate responses. Conversation history may be stored to improve response quality and personalization.
• Community Content: Posts, comments, and group activity you create in the Community section are stored on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• Personalize your study experience (e.g., weak area detection, study plan generation);
• Process and manage your subscription;
• Sync your study progress across devices when you are logged in;
• Respond to your questions and provide AI-powered tutoring;
• Send you study reminders and streak notifications (only if you grant permission);
• Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the Service;
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:

• Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist in operating the Service (e.g., RevenueCat for subscription management, cloud hosting providers). These parties are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential.
• Authentication Providers: Google and Apple when you use OAuth sign-in. Their privacy policies govern the data they collect.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal process.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Study progress, preferences, and settings may also be stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This local data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you are logged in.

5. Device Permissions and Media Access

The app does not request access to your device photo library or media files in order to provide its educational content. Video lessons and other learning materials are delivered within the Service. If you enable study reminders, we process your notification preference and the device notification token solely to deliver the reminders you request.

6. Children's Privacy

USA MedBoard Pro is designed for medical professionals and adult learners. The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
• Opt-out of notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings or within the app's Notification Settings screen.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data through our Account Deletion page. After we verify the request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., USMLE official resources, ECFMG). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending you a notification through the app. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Brazil (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados — LGPD, Lei nº 13.709/2018) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area.
